Director of Business Development


Position Summary:


The Director of Business Development (DBD) is responsible for the development, implementation and continuous refinement of the facility's business development plans. As a member of the facility management team, the Director of Business Development is actively involved in strategic planning, sales and marketing management, identification of potential growth opportunities, and current and future projects. The DBD will act as facility liaison with existing and new referral sources and providers. You will promote and educate on services offered at Valle Vista Health Systems and assist in resolving any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.


  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in a health care business development management position with a proven track record for producing significant referral and census growth is desired.

  • Direct experience developing managed care agreements is desired.

  • Management and supervisory experience required.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
